Chocolate Pizza

Here are all of the ingredients that you will need:

1) A box of your favorite chocolate brownie mix. ( I use Triple Chunk) - the egg, oil and water is just to prepare your brownie.
2) 1/3 cup of Milk Chocolate frosting. (you can also use other flavors)
3) 1/3 cup of chunk peanut butter ( I love that this recipe asks for peanut butter because since I don't eat peanut butter I am in no danger of wanting to eat it! My tights are very thankful :)
4) M&M's or any other favorite candy.

1) Make your brownie mix following the instructions from the box and bake it.
2) Let it cool COMPLETELY.
3) After your brownie is totally cool put the chocolate, peanut butter in a small bowl and mix them together really well.
4) Spread on top of your brownie and decorate with M&M's or any other candy of your preference.
5) Let cool inside of the fridge for 2 hours and serve it. Enjoy :)

Milena's Feijao Tropeiro

Ingredients:

1 Onion (medium)
1 package of Bacon (I like to use the tick cut and has to be original)
Tons of Garlic :)
1 bunch of Collards green or Kale
1 ring of Kielbasa Beef sausage ( I added the picture for you Marcia)
1 pound of cooked Black Beans (I make my own but you can use it from the can!? Not the same tough :)
Salt and Pepper as desired.
1 cup of Manioc Flour.

Preparation:

1) Fry the bacon cut in small pieces, onions and garlic together. Get rid of some of the grease from the bacon but leave a good amount so your beans won't be dry.
2) when the bacon is looking almost done you add the sausage.
3) when the bacon and sausage are done you add the Collard Greens or Kale thinned sliced. ( I added the pictures for you)
4) When you see that it is all done and crispy you add the beans without any water in it.
5) Let it fry for 10 minutes and add salt and pepper, remember that the beans will be tasting bacon so go easy with the salt.
6) Add the manioc flour slowly, I like my beans moisty so I always make sure to do not add to much flour. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and it is ready!
Serve and enjoy it! :)
PS: Some people add eggs, other kinds of sausage or beans. This is Milena's Tropeiro Beans recipe! :)

Seven Layer Bean Dip

Seven Layer Bean Dip

Ingredients: (it makes a large dish pan)

1/2 pound of refried Black Beans (I cook my own in the pressure cooker-it is way better and softer and I put in my blender until is totally smooth)
18oz Salsa bottle (I use mild but you can spice things up if you want)
12oz zesty Guacamole
16oz of Sour Cream (you can use fat free)
18oz of Sliced Black Olives
3 big and ripe diced Tomatoes (buy it fresh, it does not taste good from a can)
2 cups of shredded "Mexican" cheese (Monterrey jack/cheddar is the best one)

You can layer it the way you want it but I learned how to layer it so it will help to make your dip tastier, for example putting the salsa on top of the beans :)
I add in this order:

1) Refried Beans
2) Salsa
3) Guacamole
4) Diced Tomatoes
5) Sour Cream
6) Black Olives
7) Cheese

After you are done with your layers, put inside of the fridge so it can be cold. The colder the better :)
I always like to leave in the fridge overnight.

Enjoy it :)

Citrus Sherbet Recipe

Easy Citrus Punch

This is one of the easiest punch recipe you will ever find it! I use it when I forget about drinks for a party or when I want a quick fancy drink to serve.

Ingredients:
1 box of Orange/Lemon and Lime Sherbet (I buy the fat free one)
2 bottles of 2 liters each of Sprite. (you can use diet Sierra Mist)

Right before your party starts you take your punch bowl out, add the sherbet and add the "chilled" Sprite or Diet Sierra Mist. It is better when the soda is chilled so it won't melt to fast. I always add one bottle at a time.
Enjoy it :)
